Here are the 3 finalists of the Innovation contest 2022

The winner will be announced on September 8 at 3pm. In the meantime, check out these products to learn more about the 3 companies in the running! Thanks to all those who proposed their products, all were really very interesting but we had to make a choice …

Innovation : Inneo

Proud of its brand new product Innodal, presents Inneo. The very first bacteriocin recognized by Health Canada as a processing aid, was commercialized to help agri-food industry to manage its Listeria risks. “Clean label”, a thousand times more efficient than chemical traditionally used for the same application (as a processing aid, no need to appear in the ingredient’s list, so no need to modify your packaging), Inneo is the most efficient solution to protect yours clients against Listeria and your company against food recalls.

Innovation : Maritech Eye

In November 2020, Maritech launched Maritech Eye™ for white fish. The solution is the only one of its kind in the world; seeing through the skin of white fish and analyzing + documenting blood spots in red fish fillets. And enabling the grader to sort in industrial speed, while documenting the quality of each unique fish.

Innovation : The ContainerTank

This revolutionary system omits the need for a state-of-the-art building, as it houses the entire system within 40 feet. Simply place the Holding System at the location of your choosing, and the container does the rest. Hold 10,000 pounds of live catch per container.

The ContainerTank makes for easy transportation and even easier system maintenance. Your water flow, oxygen and ammonia levels are monitored around the clock with alarms programmed to alert you if attention is needed. The best part? You can monitor all the levels right from your mobile phone.
